About Chip Nation

Chip Nation is an independently operated community website for rating and discussing chips. It isn’t a registered company. Contact: contact@chipnation.club.

Browsing vs. accounts

Anyone can browse Chip Nation—view chips, ratings, and Feature articles—without creating an account. An account is only needed to submit reviews, follow other users, submit chips, or (for Chip Correspondents) write Features.

Age

Chip Nation accounts are for people aged 16 or older. Browsing doesn’t require an account and has no age restriction. We don’t collect birthdates or ask for identity documents, and the site does not verify age. The optional, self-reported age-range field in onboarding and your profile offers “16-17” as its youngest option—but nothing in the code checks or enforces age at sign-up.

Your content

You retain ownership of the reviews, photos, chip submissions and Feature articles you contribute. By submitting content, you give Chip Nation permission to store, reproduce and display it as needed to operate the website. This permission does not transfer ownership to Chip Nation. If your account is deleted, a published review may remain without attribution to your account.

Moderation

Chip submissions and Feature articles are reviewed before publication. A curator or admin may reject a chip submission. An admin may reject a Feature or unpublish one that is already live. Reviews can appear without manual preapproval. Please follow our Guidelines when contributing.

Account deletion

There is no self-service way to delete your account. Email contact@chipnation.club to request deletion, and we’ll handle it manually. We don’t promise a specific turnaround time, and deletion isn’t instant—backup copies of your data may remain for a period afterward.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update this page and its “Last updated” date. We don’t send email notices of changes.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
